Available surface finishes and treatment options for Paint & Textures.
The choice of finish depends on the end application. For painted furniture, use Sanded or Pre-Primed finish. For visible surfaces, Pre-Laminated or Veneer Faced offers the best aesthetics. For wet areas, always specify BWR/BWP Treated finish regardless of the surface finish chosen.
Always apply one coat of primer before emulsion.
Do a physical paint chip on the actual wall before finalising colour.
Specify sheen level clearly — same colour in matt vs satin looks very different.
Do not mix leftover paint from different batches on the same wall.
Do not apply exterior paint on interior walls — different formulation.
Do not skip putty and sanding if wall surface is uneven.
Screen colours on computers or phones are never accurate. Always view the physical chip in the actual room under both natural and artificial light before finalising.
